Default Glovebox

what do you do with this space? lets see some pics. people on the forum always say i have an amp in there or i have my cd player in there. i just wanna see what it looks like.

I will be following this thread with interest. I want to take the innards out and put this amp in there. But I need some idea of what supporting framework must be constucted. Or maybe the amp can just be mounted under the dash on the passenger side somehow?

There's no way that an amp could be stuffed under the seat. I can't even get my fingers under there. As for the glovebox, i've tried removing the liner and placing a CD player, but it's not deep enough. :nonod:

You poor thing...you missed it by one year. In 1978, in the restyled interior (not really...they borrowed from 77) a glovebox was added where the map pocket had adorned the passenger's side dash since 1968. It was first appearance of the glove box since 1967.

I modified mine on my 79 to provide space for my mechanical gauges. I cut the door and made it smaller. I can't post so I will email. Dale
