I put up a joke thread yesterday about gdh being 73-454. It was a Saturday night tongue-in-cheek humorous (I thought) post about a guy, gdh, that we all know as a long-time valuable member of this forum. He is a fun guy with a good sense of humour so I mistakenly thought everyone who read that thread would have know that it was in fun.

1bad69, PrairieShark, Fevre (2 of which know gdh personally) understoof it for what it was. Some of you others apparently didn't and emailed and IMed him what I guess was a bunch of BS.

For the record, it was a joke - the kind I have been known to make amongst friends for as long as they have known me. I am sorry it has caused enough of an apparent mess for a good member to take a walk.

Anyone who's been around a while would have known you were joking. Both gdh & georgie were well known and could be easily distinguished by their posts & rhetoric. It was hard for 73-454 to hide even when he came back in disguise....that type of personality immediately surfaces.

If anything, I think the'd(gdh & 73-454) would be opposites. :yesnod:

Yeah, but it's still original :). I gotta admit that there are times that I miss ol' Georgy though. You have to give him credit for having an answer, and the same answer, to every question. "Your car is a rusted out piece of crap" :).

I think we should have our first ever C3 charity percentage point drive. All of the percentage points raised will go to Desertdawg. :lol: Maybe we can even hook up with a moderator and get a point for point match. :D :cheers:

Thanks, it is frightening to be the target of the absolute hatred that George instilled here, I posted a bit of what some of the emails stated in Kyle 's post. ANyway gtg spend time with the familly.

I read both the posts, although I didn't get to read what Flav's initial post had in it.

It kinda makes me wonder based on the e-mail's/IM's that GDH received what kind of society we really do live in. Plus the mentality of some of the members of the forum, as far as I'm concerned all those who sent threatening IM's/e-mails should be banned, we don't need it here or anywhere for that matter.

Just my .02, and gdh - enjoy the time away with family :cheers:
