80-82 Dana44 pinion bolt torque?
I bought a new billet steel pinion yoke and can't find my GM service manual. Anyone know what the pinion yoke nut is supposed to be torqued to?

Thanks! Good thing I ate my "Wheaties" this morning, LOL! I guess I'll use a pneumatic impact gun for that one.

Yeah you can get away with that with the original shim pack ,no problem at all . I had the info handy as I am building up a new diff for the vette and pulling out the econo gear .

Good thing to torque that one. The rebuilt diff that was install previously had an untorqued pinion bolt. Took a little time to find where was that whinning coming from. Always double check, don't trust anyone.
