Mine is a Crane and it does have a California EO number. Haven't smogged it yet though :blueangel:

Here are the specs: it is a good idle and great performing cam.

Unless you get carried away and put more cam than makes sense for a street engine anyway, you aren't likely to have any problems with testing. The actual emissions of a stock engine (in good condition and tune) are usually only a fraction of what's allowed so you should have plenty of room for a healthier cam and/or other mods that could increase you measurement. If your engine is in good tune and all of the visible smog equipment is in place, you shouldn't have a problem. IMO, most all of the cams that carry an EO are too mild to justify a swap. Going a notch or three above them will provide a much bigger power improvement without risking emissions compliance. Something with about 220º (+/- a couple degrees) intake duration @ .050 lift with 110º centers should be safe, a few degrees higher with wider centers.

My stock GM GW350 did all 0's 2 years ago, and had a very minute amount of HCs this year, with the dual exhaust. PLENTY of room for mods.

I have the comp cams 268h and it was well within legal limits when I hooked it up to a machine. Since, I have added true duals without cats (temporarilyi of course).
