Fiberglass sidepipe covers.
I have a set of used covers (e-bay) that I am going to strip and repaint. The existing fastener holes do not line up with rocker panel holes on the car. When these covers were new, did they come with holes or do you have to drill them?
Also I need some info on what paint and color should be used to get close to the stock look.
Thanks

I'm pretty sure the ones I bought didn't have any holes. I didn't even try to line up with the original holes. Just drilled new ones as I recall. I used a silver (argent) base with black base striping and a PPG Concept clearcoat. I had no insulation inside and it held up well.

My factory covers didn't line up with the holes left by the rocker panels either. I just drilled new holes and bolted them up. They don't seem to be terribly well-spaced either, so I'm guessing there was some leeway when they were first installed, and that they did not have pre-drilled holes.
