Has anyone built/bought a custom tube frame?
I am looking into one built locally, aluminium tube frame for @ $6k cdn. and building a C2 around it. I can get a very lightweight C2 race body in Canada as well for $4 - 5k cdn. Just trying to talk my wife into the fact that: a) she really could drive a 427, with auto trans (F1 style paddles on steering wheel), and b) that "no dear, it would be yours and I would nevah nevah evah drive it, especially at the strip".

My dad is planning on building one for his '64. Then it would be about 2600lbs with him (280lbs) and a full tank of gas included.
