I have a new signature!

After you get the hood painted(and finished of course) I would almost think your vette was the one I owned about 13 years ago. Mine was not a big block though, but it did have the LT-1 hood. I spent a week watersanding and buffing the black paint out and it came out like glass(as was posted above). A seriously nice looking project you have going. Definitely something to be shooting pics of with the digital camera. Kudos!

Thanks for the compliments guys. I do have a lot of hours invested in wet sanding and buffing. :smash: This is the first black car that I have owned and everyone told me while I was painting it what a PITA it would be to keep clean and they all were right. But boy when it is clean I can't keep from grinning ear to ear. :D Hopefully when it gets warmer I will be able to paint the hood. The block is still at the machine shop. I am witing on the carpet to come in from TLD right now. There is still a lot of work to do but it has been well worth it. :cheers:
