Windshield washer pump
Is there a kit or a place that I can send my windshield washer motor/pump. The pump has not worked since I have owned the car. Wipers work fine.

Re: Windshield washer pump (72GACRZR)
Thanks....However, my car does have the headlight washer provision which I would like to keep. Is there anything out there, in terms of a rebuild kit? I seem to remember an article in Corvette Fever where they were able to buy a rebuild kit and do it themselves.

Not sure of a rebuild kit, I just bought a replacement from Zip, it wasn't very expensive either. Good luck

Re: Windshield washer pump (Michaeljh2000)
I found some rebuild kits at Pep Boys but the plastic parts were black. My original unit had some worn out internal parts also so I bought a replacement generic pump that looked similar( but the plastic parts were white.) I used some of the new parts and some old parts inside my old housing. I took the seals off of the parts in the rebuil kit and used my original pump piston and valves so they still have that yellowish original look. With the original housing and new parts, it works great but still looks original. It does take some creativity and time and tends to be a little frustrating to get it to work correctly. It all depends on what you want. We have the technoligy... we can rebuild it!!! :grouphug:
