Any suggestions on what to do or how to fix the bottom part of the seat frame of a '72. The bottom frame is broken in the back where the seat back
and bottom stops come together. That whole area on the bottom is bent and loose.

Thanks for the response Ed, I have seen that plate that covers the seat bottom on the back edge. Do you know if they work ?

Thanks again Ed, you have convinced me to give the plate a try instead of buying a used frame. Chances are everyone has the same problem. The seats frames are pretty weak anyway.

If you have any rust or dampness in that seat area....you tops are leaking...and that is what rusts out seats and seatbelt mechanisms.....

check carefully before you invest...
