what waterhoses to get for alu radiator
i just got the summit alu radiator for my 68 and found the waterneck is not the same as the original.of course i could "bubba"something and use copper elbows and short pices of hose, but i was wondering if anybody has found a perfect fit replacement hose, without using one of those universal flexhoses.
thanks for the help

I don't think there's a good solution to your problem. Small blocks can use the generic radiator because they have much more room between the alternator and water neck, but the big block rad is so close to the alternator that a hose bend will never be tight enough. I hope you find something!
I spent some time looking at this, then decided to go with Dewitt's custom '68 radiator. It's beautiful, but expensive.

some samco silicon hose type manufacturers make custom hoses, maybe something will fit. OR you could weld on an AN bung and use some AN fittings and hose (I have that too on a fluidyne radiator).

Hi
I bought the same radiator.
I get new water necks welded to this rad. I think this is the best way to go, also because the lower outlet partially gets covered by the frame and lower air dam sheet.
Can't speak about the price to do it as I get it done at work.
Did you get the universal rad mounts or did you manufacture new ones ?
The original mounts can't be used, or did you manage ?
