Default WHEELS!

Hey,

What kind of Backspacing would I need to put 10 inch wide wheels on the back of my '79?

My guess would be 3 3/4 backspacing. A wheel shop would know. What style rim do you plan on getting?

I haven't quite decided yet it is a summer plan so I have plenty of time to choose. I was thinking a Centerline product, I like their wheels.

I have 10 inch rallys on back with 295/50/15 tires. The 5 inch backbpacing works pretty good. If you use anything less, the tire is going to stick out of the fender too much.

Note that you have to relocate the e-brake bracket to the top of the trailing arm. You should have 1/4 inch clearance to the trailing arm with the 295 tire.
