A question for you owners of 1974 vettes
Do 74's have dual exhaust? And what happens to the exhaust at the rear? Do they turn down at the rear panel?
I'm thinking of an exhaust change to my 72, but I dont want to remove my rear valance. I would think that a 74 and a 72 have the same frame no?
Thanks in advance

Wow, this is the first time I've seen this. Usually someone is trying to fill their rear valance.
It should look OK with the pipes turned down.
JMO, but if it was my car, I"d opt for the 69 sidepipes and covers. But those are pretty pricey!
Nice car

Thanks guys, just what I needed.
Vettefixer, are you running dynomax headers?
I had the supercomps and pipes and I may want to put them back some day so I didnt want to replace that nice rear valance I have

Yes, they're the dynomax Cermacoat headers and I like them a lot. What's not shown in the pics are the Dynomax Ultraflow Stainless mufflers. I put them on a few months after the headers and I like them too. A nice deep idle and a good tone at cruise that you can speak over but they open up real nice when you put your foot in it.
