Default Cappys car ran into a tar pit....Pics inside

Just the front part. :) :) Just kidding, it is now got Lava Lining or Rhino Lining or whatever it is called to stop the front from getting chipped all the time. Looks great. If you want bigger pics, let me know and I will put them up.

YEAH!!! No flowery shirts allowed in Corvettes!!!

I didn't even realize he had that on, everybody wears that kind of shirt (if they wear a shirt)

Maurice,
Thanks for posting the pic's
The coating protects the spoiler from road rash.....If any of you guys have a spoiler up front....from time to time...you will scrape the spoiler on the pavement....major damage occurs, since it's very thin fiber glass with paint on it....I got tired of removing and sending in for repairs and new paint....Cost was an issue ....$250.00 each time.
I was looking at a pickup truck with this coating and I tried to scrape the surface...It's hard a rock....you can drag a tool box across it.....so I figure it would work well on the spoiler coating the underside and outside.....Yep, it is tough....I scraped a speed bump with no damage.....I was going to have paint applied to match the car, however it sets off the C-3 nose so well....I may leave it like it is.
Should I paint to match car, or leave it???????????????????????? You call the shot. :seeya Cappy

You can get it dyed. I've seen an Avalanche with it dyed blue to match to paint. All the plastic panels were rhino-lined.

Armstrong,
Third brake light came off a FireChicken....
The light really helps drivers see my car.....since it has a very subdued paint job... :D :seeya Cappy

can Ryno lining be sanded smooth? Or should I say Grinded smooth? then painted? or dyed then sprayed with a diamond hard clearcoat. I don't remember the name of the product but a friend of mine has a skyline and he had the car clear coated by this product by some company that said if he gets a chip they will repair it for free.

But with that aside, I say for functional use and realizing why and what it is sprayed on there, it looks good, But to the average passer by, I would imagine they would think why in the heck did you do that. It seems to take away from the first glance apperance of the front end.

Hey Desertdawg,
I think you got something there......I could blast through traffic like a Rino....never a scratch or a ding.....park anywhere I want....even between two Vans or SUV's with a soccer mom and a load of kids in the back....never have to ever worry about being keyed.....Chicks could lean or sit on my car to have there pictures taken.....no problem......Birds can shiiit all over it.....just hose it off.....Polish hell.....just rub her down with Armour-all......Some body stop me.....can I get an Amen....... :D :seeya Cappy
