Default C3 - Power steering pump question

Does anyone know of a source for a replacement filter ring for a SIG PS PMP?

Thanks :flag

Can you explain a little better where you got the name SIG PS PUMP? And what is a filter ring? What is it supposed to do?

Jim,

Disregard the SIG reference...

Inside the pump, between the pump casing and reservoir there is a filter (2.5-3" ring shaped) and filter cage (has a spring in it) which sit in the cavity - just behind the fluid return inlet.

Well, it is deteriorated and I was looking to obtain a replacement. I'm told that the're no longer avail and that I should discard both assemblies.

Comments?

Thanks

I got for $29.99. You have to buy the whole kit though. We don't sell the parts individually. -Dan

I looked through the site but did not find a rebuild kit for a PS PMP. Under what heading is it listed?

Thanks
