Need timing settings for 75 corvettte 350 for smog
I need the timing specs for a 1975 corvette. A friend just got it running again and took it to get smogged. It passed all tests including tailpipe, but failed on timing. The bad part is, the smog shop would not tell him what it is supposed to be set at. Please help if you can.

Is the underhood sticker still intact and legible? That will say whether it is a CA vehicle or a Federal one and will also give timing info. :yesnod:

5 degrees btdc at idle with the vacuum advance disconnected and plugged. Just went through this myself . . .
