Default question about bird cage

I am replacing my bird cage in my 69 covette since I found rust on the windsheild pillar post. I want to replace the whole cage and not just the windshield frame section from the cage. Does any one know the year range I can work with 68- ? . Thanks

Actually you should be able to use anything from 68 to 82. There are some minor differences but workable. If you stay with 68-72 or so there probably will be a few less problems. If you are changing the fiberglass part of the cowl you should stay with 68- 72 because of the wiper door area.

Thanks for the info, its up to my dad its still his car he has owned it since 1972. We successfully put in a new windshield frame, so we might just leave it as that. Thanks

How difficult was it replacing your windshield frame? How much did it cost you?
