chicken's73sting

OK all here are some Pic's of my '73 coupe, the car runs and moves believe it or not, but not too much else, it's came with a/c power steering, brakes, windows etc.. all of that stuff is still there but just needs work, as you can see the body is right down to the bare fiberglass, and i think i just have to sand it and then put a high build primer surfacer on it but i'm not sure, let me know what you think(go easy on me) :chevy

Proably goin with Silver like it was originally or possibly black, i just ordered the L-88 hood for it because the old one was cracked really bad in a few spots, and also goin for the tourqe thrust 2's like mikes :chevy

Hey i went to Ecklers for the L-88 hood the part number is #10422 and the hood fresh air chamber number is #10416, should look great as soon as i get the body problem straightened out talk to you soon :chevy

I'm actually the second owner of the car, and the original owner and his son decided to restore the car and stripped it down to the fiberglass and then let it sit for 12 years!!!!!! The original engine fires right up with little trouble, but unfortunately they left the drivers side window cracked with a tarp over it for those 12 years and all of the mechanicals(gauges,radio, switches etc) don't work do too condensation building up and basically destroying all of it. The seats are in good shape as is the rest of the soft parts in the interior, but as for the wiring and mechanical parts they all need to be replaced/restored, i checked out the frame and what i could see of the birdcage and that surprisingly seemed to be ok, the only rust on the car is on the inside of both doors which i actually need if anyone has any or knows where to get some- thanks all !!!!-Dan :chevy
