We are assembling a representative Corvette from every year made. Below is a preliminary list of confirmed Corvettes for Special Interest and Evolution displays. We still have a lot of gaps for some "hard to find" years and invite your participation by submitting your appropriate cars.

CORVETTE DAY

When: Saturday, May 3, 2003; 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: Petersen Automotive Museum
6060 Wilshire Blvd. at Fairfax,
Los Angeles, CA 90036

Details: Join us to celebrate the 50th anniversary of a great American classic — the Chevrolet Corvette. We have chosen the date, 5/3, for its symbolic relationship to “53” -- the Corvette’s first year of production.
Bring the family for a day of fun!

Corvette Day’s exciting celebration includes:


A Record Gathering of Corvettes in Southern California
with more than 500 Corvette owners showcasing their cars
Display of Corvettes representing each year of production
as well as world famous and custom models such as Grand Sports, SR2, Scaglietti Corvette, CERV 1, and Shark/ Mako.

Legendary Corvette owners and celebrities expected to attend
Commemorative ribbon for pre-registered Corvette owners
Opportunity for pre-registered Corvette owners to win exciting
raffle prizes.

Corvette Advance Registration: $50 includes display area parking to showcase your beloved Corvette, a commemorative ribbon, one raffle entry, two Corvette Day and Museum admissions, two lunch tickets (burger, fries, soft drink).

Corvette owners must register in advance—Space is limited.
Your car must be parked by 9:30 a.m. day of event and remain on
view until 4 p.m. Registration must be received by April 14.

At the Door: Corvette viewing only (vehicle parking and lunch not included):
$10 Adults, $5 seniors & students,
$3 children age 5 and up.

Tentative schedule: 7:30 a.m. Gates Open for Corvette owners parking
(advance registration required)
10 a.m. Corvette Day opens to the public
11:30 a.m. Lunch buffet opens
1 p.m. Raffle prizes announced
4 p.m. Event ends
