About 3 1/2 more weeks and this will be done. Then I can start putting more cash toward the vette.

It is will be fun. I have threatened the whole family that I am going to get the additive to show red if you pee in the pool. I really don't think that anyone really makes anything like that but if the kids think it is in there that should be good enough.
Pat the curves are to sharp to skate board in, Plus the texture of the concrete would take a lot of skin off Ouch !!!!
By the way I could have bought a nice 69 vert BB with what this thing is costing me :cry :cry

I can remember my poor dad slaving all weekend during the summer to keep our pool clean. I bought a skiboat instead.

I've had a pool for about 14 years and have a creepy crawl doing all the work. I have an automatic chlorinator and really don't find it alot of work. Shutting it down in the fall is easy. The hardest part is openning it up in the spring.
Your popularity will go way up with a pool. Be prepared to entertain.
Enjoy the pool

Let's see - 50,000 gallons of chlorinated water + 1/4 cup of kids urine = still a
clean pool. I'm more worried about dead animals that I find in mine. Floating
chipmunks - sunk moles - bull frogs daily (they can poop, boy) - and once a
large spotted black/yellow salamader - tons of small red ones.
Now, about cleaning it. Have you had a pool before, Bob ? Most people in FL
do - so you probably know the amount of work required, especially if you let
it get bad. Once it's clean again - you try to get as much fun as possible.
People without pools will gladly bring food and beer to hang
out
I have a 20x40 that came with the house.
ps - yours is WAY too close to the neighbors. You'll need a tall fence for skinnydipping.
Another looking the other way during the day. It's nice when it's blue.

Priorities, eh? Well, it's smart to keep the family happy. Then you can spend more on the Vette. Good idea.
