I'm so jealous!!! :mad I spent all afternoon Sunday, cleaning, polishing, clay bar and waxing my 99 Prelude SH . . . Sure wish it was a C5. Just couldn't commit to those kind of funds right now.

Congrats!!!

WoW looks great, I am afraid that if I had a C5 vert. my C3 would be rarely in use.

The C5 is another "World"... It's such a smooth ride and icredible handling...
However - driving the 68' is another breath taking experience.. The sound of the solid lifter engine and the aggressive vibrations give me that "race car" feeling that I don't want to miss...

Congrats again! You are gonna love it, but someone said they are almost too civilized and I think that is true.

It is a great ride. :)

If you don't step on the gas - the car feels like a Caddy :jester

I love my Z06. It is an amazing car but the nostalgic feel of my '72 is unbeatable. I get more looks and waves when I drive the old Vette. I feel that most people think C5 drivers are more snobby and don't deserve any attention. Either any, I love driving Corvettes! Enjoy your '98. :seeya

There's something about C3's that I don't want to miss.. I couldn't imagine being without a C3 for a longer period of time...
Well - the C3 isn't really a car for longer trips... I'm only 31 (almost 32) and my back hurts after trips over 100 miles in my 68'.. but there's something about those cars that I cannot describe with words.....

My vette is the only car I've ever rode in that didn't give me a back ache after a long ride. One time I drove from Drum to Erie and back with only stopping in Erie for maybe 2 hours. That was over 12 hours of driving or around 700 miles that day. My back was fine, I couldn't believe it.

well off to post a thumbs up in your C5 Gen thread :jester
