Default PLEASE HELP

I have a holley street dominator intake manifold with a standard qjet carburetor, i made a recent engine rebuild and i'm having problems, the car idlle ok but runs lean. doesnt drive, just iddle. could it be a fuel pump prioblem?, or as i have more comresion on cilynders , could it be a bad combination between intake manifold an carburetor?

please help

Carb should work with that intake.Think I would check for vacuum leaks,timing,valve lash and the sort.Could be a pump problem and that is easy to check.

I agree it sounds like a vacume leak and or a bad fuel pump.
