Well, believe it or not the rims are almost 20yrs and the chrome is still perfect! :eek: They really looked good with all the chrome on the car.

I doubt I'll switch back, I plan to add offset trailing arms and wider rims and 17's this winter........hopefully. :D

I have no idea. You would think theft of the emblem bit a screwdriver could solve that. I'll have to ask him if he knew why maybe. :confused:

Thanks for the comments guys, but he did al the work. Hey, I was on'y 3yrs old when he got the car. :lol: I have just about the the entire engine bay basted and I glassed in the the holes where the blower motor was. I did in a way that I can EAILY revert back to original if I choose to do that.

Your dad sounds like my kinda guy! :cheers: I just read your other post w/ the pics of the 62 he had- wasn't sure what to say about that since your family members were involved. This story is alot happier. The other one reminds me of the 60 Vette I had that got totalled when a guy ran a stop sign & nailed me. Oddly enough, I have pics of that car from about 1970 also- before the accident.
