Kinda brings back memories of what my car used to look like. The funny thing is, someone will see that potential car in that wreckage and dump lotsa $$$ into it just like we all do.

You have to wonder what the story is behind this, it must be a sad one. Somebody put a lot of work into that car at some point.

That's what I am thinking. Pull the body off and build it from the frame up to be either a kick azz drag car or an ultimate road racer. Just start at the frame, weld it all up nice and tight, put the body back on, throw in a roll cage, 1 seat and a custom gage panel. Strip out everything that is not needed for safety or for racing. Rebuild the block to a 383 with some nice parts. All the running gear is there, just needs some work. You won't have to worry about the title and it comes with a trailer. Get it all put together for racing and give it a Macco paint job and some numbers.

In 1 year's time that could be on the track looking good and hauling azz.

I wish I would have seen this a few months ago. I could really go for a project like this.

Maybe the "trim tag" off of the trailer could be put on the Vette :lolg: Says he has a title for that :hurray: Those "ECHLERS" rear ends are very scarce-do you have any idea what those can bring at Bloomington or Carlisle    That "battery" location is actually a very rare "Canadian Battery Warming" option only found in '74(actually, the tray that holds it slightly elevated is missing, but I seen them at Carlisle). Was actually the same '63-'67 battery tray, GM just modified it a little for this rare and unusual option.

If that thing was in Florida, I believe I would be bidding on it. If I had my 40x60 garage built I would be bidding on it now. Oh well.

It was a very nice car... what the hell happened? Seems that the owner has already started parting it out...

I like the idea of building a race car with it!

 Did anyone notice the miles on this car, 790,000  . Those last 2-300,000 must have been pretty tough :jester .

Looks like it was a very nice car. I wonder why it has no title  .
