L84 cam in L48 engine, good idea, or not so good idea!?!?
I have read that the cam from the L84 is pretty good even by todays standards. The local checkers has a bunch of cams in, some edelbrock. I am buying TODAY so if you have any suggestions let them rip!!!

I like Crane, short single pattern for low power street use. Mine is an Crane Energizer 266 H10. L84 is old technologly. :smash:

not a good idea if you want low-end torque! (L84=30/30 cam for Hi Rpm use)

I finally settled for the edelbrock performer plus cam, its going in on Monday. We'll see how it works!!!
