Default Setting carb?
What is the best way to set the air mixture on stock 79 Q-jet? Carb was just rebuilt and I borrowed the tool to set carb for the weekend.

Allow it to warm up. Adjust the idle to normal range and adjust each idle mixture screw. Turn the screw in until the RPM drops and then back it out untill it smoothes up. Do this several times.
