Default Edelbrock 2501 performer ?

I have a couple of these new in the box. They're clear powder coated from the factory, that's the reason for the 2501 number. I don't think Edelbrock offers this option any more, does anyone have any info as to how this coating held up?
Thanks
Gary

Hi Bob,
Yes it's a Performer intake manifold. Same as the 2101 but clear coated.

Hi Gary,

I have one! The clear coat holds up alright, as long as you can keep fuel away from it; fuel turns it yellow. I had a fuel leak (carb inlet)... You do the math...

Take care!

Hey Pedro, I'll leave the Math to the expert from Clifton Park :D

Glad to hear the powder coating works well, looks like one of them is already spoken for too.

Suuuuure.... But this particular problem is p-r-e-t-t-y straightforward:

fuel + clear coat = yellow coat
yellow coat + carb cleaner = intake - coat

All the back of the intake still looks pretty good, though.
