C3 spotted today on side of MA highway !!!
Say what ?? This is the first real live C3 that I've seen in months (outside).
It was a red rubber bumper car with crome sidepipe covers, the Ttops
like Binnie has with glass center and painted surround, and it had a trailer
hitch installed with a bike rack on the back (no bike).
She was parked on the side of Rt3 South - near Billerica. This was a NICE
looking C3 - maybe one of the highway construction guys drove it to work ?
Anyway - it got me all fired up this morning.
Hmmmm - Friday night poker game - or go home and work on the vette ?
(tough decision)

Last week it was in the upper 30's here in northern Illinois, and on my usual route home there was a primo, mint, gorgous '69-427 4-speed on the side of the road. I stopped to see if I could help the guy, but he said help was on the way. He just picked up the car from a restoration shop in the area, when a fan blade broke off and punctured the raditaor. :cuss His wife and 6yr old were huddled in the car waiting for a tow. What a bummer!! This car was simply PERFECT!! 10k paint job and all new interior. I swear, the body was flat and straight with not a ripple in the glass. I told him about the Forum...and went on my way when help arrived.
