Question about corvette TH350 tranny size.

Question about corvette TH350 tranny size.
I was wondering what length tailshaft housing we have. 6", 9" or 12". I was thinking it was the 9" housing.

I am changine out the turbo 350 in my 77 Buick and the shop asked the same question. So, I jacked up the car and crawled under it to meaure. took all of five minutes.

This is your lucky day. I have my old TH350 sitting on my garage floor, slowly dripping minute amounts of fluid onto the concrete.
It's 6". There's not much room under the car for a longer tailshaft.
