Depending on where I look, I see a DARK SADDLE interior and a SADDLE interior avaialble in a 71 car. I need to order interior parts and don't want to get the wrong ones (color). Was there only one color of saddle or were there two? Thanks in advance!

I know what you mean and it sure makes it a pian to order. I've never solved the mystery. When I ordered mine I ordered light saddle. I love the color but I had to dye my other interior panels much lighter to match. My 71 had the lightest interior of any saddle 71 I've seen. So if there was only one (and that certainly could be the case) I would say it's the darker version.

The Black Book only shows Saddle (Trim Code 417 for Vinyl and 420 for Leather). Just order your trim code.

The 1970 Saddle was light and the 71-72 Saddle was much darker.

I'm replacing the LH and RH pillar moldings. I guess I'll cut a piece of the old molding off and sent it in with my order. Mine is definitely darker than the light saddle interiors I have seen in the past. Thanks for the input gents.
