Is It Possible to Repair A Valve Cover
When I bought the BB it had been in an accident and the alternator had punched a hole in the cover about the size of a quarter. so I bought a cheap pair of chrome and they have been on ever since. Now I am contemplating fixing the damaged one because they are original and they are in great shape other than the hole. any suggestions or does anybody want to take a stab at fixing it.. :smash: :smash: :smash: :smash: :smash:

I assume these are the plain steel painted covers, so you should be able to fix them. It will probably require some metal working skill. Not knowing what the hole looks like and if the metal was just punched in or missing completely will determine how it can be repaired.
