Default What size rims

Tires are getting a little bald and it's time again to think about aftermarket rims. Does anyone know what sizes you can get on the vette with standard bodywork? width 9"-10"? diameter 18"-19"? Would also be interesting to see what rims people have put on their vettes.

Hi There M8! How's it going, haven't seen you posting her lately!? I'm almost finished with my project and you can see how I fitted 20" Torq Thrust all around, I'm also using 10" wheels at the back. Click on the link in my sig for more info! Don't hesitate to throw me an email for more questions.

Hi Groovejay,

How are you pal?
I haven't been on the forum for a while.
Your Vette sure is looking sweet!

I'll have to find out about import costs.
They want your legs for a set of wheels over here.

Torq thrusts over here are about £270 +vat each and thats only 17"!!
and then you have the rubber!

You'll have to post some pics of your car when it's finished.
Are you going to lower it at all?

Sorry it took bit time to find this post again. I'm doing good, lot of work and lot of footie, the usual! I'm still in London for few more weeks, so if you want to hook up, drop me a line. I bought my wheels from Hot Rods USA and they came up with the cheapest price on TT IIs when I was looking. I think it was 1300 sterling for set of 4 after I took them from the customs and paid all the taxes.

I'll definately post more pics, in April aftre car has been painted.

 Jay

I never thought "dubs" would ever look good on a C3, but you proved me wrong!
