Rear suspension kit recommendations
The car is an original 427/390 BB, currently has a 350/350 in it. Eventually, I would like to put a 427 back in.
I'm looking for recommendations on a rear suspension kit that would suit the car as a 350, but will also support the reinstallation of a 427. I'm definitely going with a composite spring to reduce weight and improve the ride. It looks like the 330 lbs/in spring is suited for a SB, but may not be the best for a BB. However, a 360 lbs/in spring may be too much for the SB right now.
So, would you go with a 330 or 360 spring, and what supporting elements would you install to support the spring (i.e., shock kits, sway bar, etc).
Thanks.

I'd recommend VBP's dual mount rear composite spring and their smart struts. I've this rear setup on my car for a couple of years and it works very well, especially if you also have their front transverse system.

If you know shortly your going to put the 427 back in go with the 360 spring. The car may ride a little hard but it's better than buying 2 springs for the car. Sway bar and shocks would also be a good idea. KYB or Bilsteins. if you e-mail me your address and i can send you a catalog.
