Default Bent Lower Extension/Air Dam

I have an 82 vette thats just starting to be restored. I've noticed that the Lower Extension/Air dam is bent up in the center. Since the front end sits so low to then ground I'm sure it was a curb in a parking lot that did the damage. I've noticed that there is a metal brace about 1" x 3" that is welded to the front end guard and on the other end fits right under the center of the air dam. That whole brace and the air dam in the center is pushed up such that the center is about 2" higher than normal. I don't recall how this brace originally looked or how far down it extended. Does anyone have a diagram or a picture?
