My ZR 1 wheels came in today (sweet) now it's time to order the adapters

i have been told that 2.5" is what i need i just want to be sure .
so send me any input . i just want to buy them once.also
will this set up clear my stock spring? i kinda just tryed to hold the rim
up to the hub and it looks like the spring will be hitting the rim???

I just typed in Vette Brakes, find billet spacers, type in your rim data and the units you need will come up. I think I paid $315.00 2 years ago. Ensure you get extended lug bolts with lock-tight.

i'm thinking 3". when i put the 9.5" on the front with 2.5" adaptors, they rub. now i'm not sure the backspacing is the same but it sounds like it.
in the picture below, i have 9.5" all around. i would recommend a 285 instead of the 275 just to fill out the rim all the way.

I have 4--92 vette rims at 17x9.5 and 2.5 inch spacers on each corner....

from VBP.....7 years ago or so, they did not make any adaptors to fit these wheels....but they made them for me, and I had ordered two differant sized 2.25 and .25 and so exchanged the adaptors for the same all around....

I think it was me, followed by who knows how many others who figgered out what that adaptor had to be for this swap....

I use 275/50/17 in rear....stock arms with moved brake tab.....

spring will clear, so will sway bar....that 275-50 tire though leaves only a 1/4 inch or so off the stock t-arm, so watch it....!!!

this keeps the same centerline, or damn close...I hate putting more strains on the hubs than necessary.....
