Who has bought tires recently?
I've got to replace the 18 year Good Year Eagles on my 78 SA and (of course) will be replacing with Good Year Eagles to maintain its originality. Just curious if anyone else has gone through this exercise recently and what was your experience.

Replaced the tires on both my 73's with Goodyear Eagle GA's white stripe, very close to the original's.
The look of the Ralley's or P02's with a white wall is a good look. :yesnod:

I went with BF Goodrich Radial TA 255/60/R15's about 3 weeks ago, and I love them. I know alot of people have the same tire. It's tried and true..definitely alot better in the rain than my old tires. My car feels alot better with new shoes!

I have the same tires and absolutely love them. I replace the 20 year old Eagle GT's with them.

I bought BFG T/A's also but I got the orginal size tire P215/70R15. Got them at TireRack...good price....fast delivery ....no problems :) http://www.tirerack.com/index.jsp
Also have a set of Firestone Super Sport Wide Ovals F70-15 for judged shows.

I got BFG 225/70R15 (original size) and I love them. I have gone thru a couple of sets.
Next I am going to try 255/60/R15's. Might go with Firestone Firehawks...still up in the air. :cheers:

Bought Goodyear's for mine, can't say how good they are yet, resto project STILL not done, but check out Sam's Club. They beat everyone and can also get the BFG's for you.

I went with Goodyear Eagle GT II's for the judging factor. I can't say that they're any better than the 19-year-old Goodyear Eagle ST's I took off.

I'm very happy with my Goodyear Eagle GT II's that I just bought. Of course they are 295/50R15's, but they are great. The tire rack has really good prices.
