What gets more looks?

No question, the Stingray gets the most looks. The Stingray in my opinion has one of the most distinct and sexy body stylings of any car.

I think i'd have to agree, people are probably more apreciative of a C5 when they see one but I see 1 or 2 C5's every day in lawrence and rarely ever a C3 anywhere.

Which car do you honestly think gets more looks in stock form (try to be at least a little unbiased :)

The results should be predictable depending on which Forum you vote in
I voted for the C3 on both

I get more looks in the C3. But when I take the 5 out its a magnet to the ricer racers they come out of the wood work.

IMHO,
A Lambo or Ferrari Testarossa would get more looks. So would a BMW Z8. But we're talking about a _very, very_ limited supply of these cars here in the US. ***and I don't FAVOR the look of those over a Vette, but nevertheles I DO look at the cars when I see them. They are unique, and I'm a fan of performance cars.***
If you're talking late model US production sports cars... the C3 Stingray will get more looks. My '69 BB roadster gets more looks than my '02 Z06. Which doesn't mean a lot. My Lightning pickup gets more looks than my '02 Z06.
I wasn't after "looks" when I bought either of my Vettes. I bought the convertible recently b/c I've never owned a 'vert and I like the C3 body-style. Always have since I was a kid. :)

No question here, the Lamb would grab my attention. I owned a C3 for 15 years, so unless it's something exotic - I'd just give it a quick glance.

Re: What gets more looks? (Montezumas_Viper)
If a Lambo was seen up here in Wisconsin it would stop traffic for sure.
Here's one example that somewhat proves my point.
I was just at the Chicago Auto Show this weekend. Most every make and model was represented. May beautiful cars (and female sales reps :yesnod: ) were there to be looked at. The 50th aniversary model was there next to a beautiful '53. Down the row were the 2 Ferrari's, 2 Maserati's (sp?), and a Lambo Diablo. The Corvettes were great because you could get right up and look at them very easily. The exotics were not. They weren't because of the people lined up 4 deep all around to catch a breif glimse of cars that they see only on MTV Cribs or in movies.
To me those cars are works of art. You put a 360 Modena next to anything else on 4 wheels and that other car, no matter what color it is painted, will turn green with envy.
The reason that I love the cars that are seen on this site is that They can be had by the average working schmuck like me. Its about as close as you can get to owning an exotic while still being able to drink Miller high life while washing it.

Fortunetly i have actual experience of that situation...not once but twice in the same day. The cars were two Lambos and the vette was my own looking black 77. The 1st instance was early on a Saturday mornign and the Lambo was a silver Diablo VT i think and it was parked (broken down) in front all places the islands huge 24hr WalMart. He had attracted a small crowd of about five or six people to the car, most of them kids. I drove by very close and got the craning neck reaction from most of the men and all of the kids. I parked at the Wendys at the end of the parking lot and and was able to see as i got out of the vette that she still held the attention of the kids.
Fast forward a few hours and the wife and i are criusing through hawaii kai residential area with theT-tops off when what should i see but a brand new Lambo Murceilago appears behind me. I got a chance to drive along side him for a bit through this very very affluent area, and i must say the Lambo is just too exotic, too new, too...well Hawaii Kai (affluent) for those type of people, although i got my share as well. I would say different cars appeal to different folks. However the vette (stingray) is still a bench mark in American automotive beauty for its time and still today. New Exotics are just that...new exotics so they will hold they edge untill there too common or tatste go back to sexy curvaceous (sp) looks!!!
