If it had been Bridgehampton Blue I'd have been going to the bank.
I have always wanted one built like this. Still considering it. JIM

My 1969 is about the same way: http://briefcase.yahoo.com/bc/avanti63r1025 (click on "Customized 1969 Corvette Pics") If you look you can see the round front parking lights. My VIN indicates it's a 1969, but I have the rear glass from a '78-'82 (non-collector edition) and my front fenders are the "egg crates" found on 1970-1972.
I like the car, I picked it up for not too much money but I want to go back to the correct rear upper deck and correct front fenders. When I do that, I'm either going back to Le Mans Blue (factory tag) or Daytona Yellow (I just love yellow on a Vette). Then it's time to save to build a SB 427, a pair of exhaust gas huffers and a 6 speed

As my old friend Geeorge used to say "Send that rusty clunker directly to the junk yard!"
:troll
Na, that is nicely done, fine mix of old and not so old.

I agree with others. I don't usually go for customs but this one looks nice.
The rear-end doesn't look out of place. Nice work.

I was worried at first, but it is kind of intriguing. I really like how he kept the chrome bumpers on the car.
