Just Purchased New U-Joints
I just purchased 4 brand new Spicer solid u-joints for my halfshafts and 2 brand new Spicer solid u-joints for my driveshaft. Total cost of around $172 shipped.
The Spicer u-joints will be going on in spring along with my halfshaft and driveshaft loops. Hopefully the u-joints will add a little strength to my drive train and the loops will add some safety. The 28x11.5x15 ET Streets will also be going on in spring time. I'm getting ready for the big races between the '02 ZO6 and the '02 Viper.

Are you running the stock posi case??? Mine broke because of racing... Failure at the track can have serious consequences... If you want to run the ET streets.. you might want to think about upgrading some of the differential ingredients...

Yes, the rear end has a stock series 4 carrier.
I'm not looking at pulling crazy 60' times. I want to get around 1.7 or 1.8 60' times. I just don't want the tires to come loose whenever I bang 2nd and 3rd gear.

Gordon:
I purchased the u-joints from dragvette.com they are expensive little buggers. But I suppose it's better than having to repair my battery box/glove box due to a u-joint failure.
Corey:
Yes, it should have taken place last season. However, I'm glad that it didn't because the traction just wasn't there with the 215/70/15 TAs :). The Mickey Thompson's should solve that problem. The kid with the ZO6 is talking a good game so I'm going to invite him to the track once the weather gets nice. I doubt the guy with the Viper will race me (even though he challenged me) he seems like the type to make up excuses. I'll keep you posted.
