any Florida members interested in an Old Town get together?
Im thinkin in maybe a month or so gettin a few Florida members to meet at Old Town in Kissimee...
who would be SERIOUSLY interested?
we could all park with the other "hot rods" and just congregate and meet each other...its a pretty cool place to walk around too what with plenty of food and things to do etc...
(personaly im thinkin of tryin that big sky drop thing... WOO HOO!) :yesnod:
theres tons of motels in the area and i, for one (well, actually 2) would spend the night and drive back the next day...
im thinkin maybe Sat eve, march 29th...whataya think?
we've talked about this before...this time lets do it! :yesnod:
i think it would be cool for some of us to meet each other and shoot the bull etc...
it would make chattin on the forum a little more special if some of us could actually meet and see each others cars...

anybody interested in the big sky swing too? :eek:
we (the wife and i) love rollercoasters and have Universal Studios passes...
there are some good coasters there...
we will be going there the next day (sunday) to ride them...anybody interested could "tag along"!
anyone interested in possibly joining us for that too?

Count me as a maybe, I'm off but expecting visitors near that time. Also keep in mind that Old Town has 2 cruise nights and might not allow some of our cars in if it's for the earlier years.

Count me as a maybe, I'm off but expecting visitors near that time. Also keep in mind that Old Town has 2 cruise nights and might not allow some of our cars in if it's for the earlier years.
also...i was thinking about my Steeroids coming in in the next 2-3 weeks...
i want to go up there AFTER i install it...
so it may be a week later...
were talkin very tentative dates here...
im tryin to get a feel for how many might be interested...
fact is...im goin up when the Steeroids is in anyway, whether we do a meet or not... :yesnod:
just thought this might be fun...

Name the date, I'll be there (actually the 29th stinks for me but before of after is cool)! I'd LOVE to check out some of your cars in person (and meet you all of course! :p: )

i ordered my steeroids today and they said they will ship in about a week so im lookin at april 5th or 12th realisticly...
i called today concerning the "year" problem...
sat nights are for 1972 and older...
fri nights are no problem but i know that i cant make that because like most of you...I HAVE A JOB! :lol:
the person that "really" handles the events was not there but will be there tomorrow and im gonna call back and talk to her...
from what i understand sometimes they make exceptions for clubs but it didnt sound hopeful...
ill keep you all posted...

April 5th or 12th would work better for me (that sounds so selfish! :conehead )
This would be really cool if we can get this together. Even if they didn't let us "officially" in the cruise we could still all park together somewhere on the grass and just hang out.
