Default plug wires

I should be ready to reinstall the engine by the middle of March :D . I am looking for recomendations for the part number, brand, and size for wires that will work best for a 77 L 48, HEI, stock manifolds over the rocker cover installation. I am guessing straight boot at the plug will work best. Can anyone help.

Best fit will usually come from the kits where you cut the wires to the desired length and then add the clips and and boots at the dist end.

I used Summit Racing brand 8mm silicone. They didnt have a huge selection of colors though. I chose blue. Come to think of it that may have been my only choice. Any of the major brands are suitable. The decision might come down to the color you want if thats an issue. Some companies make them in only one color where others may give you a choice. Lots of different valve cover mounted wire loom kits available too in different colors. Mine are Moroso blue.

Agree. Get spiral core w/ st. connectors for manifolds. Running under the Corvette chrome is fine.

Running Moroso Blue Max. (color not important) angled w/ headers.

This comes up all the time and I always just say, check out www.magnecor.com . I never get anyone to refute the information there about the myths and facts. But, when I installed Magnecor's (yes, $150) the improvement over Accel Superstock was immediate. Spend some time reading and then decide if an extra $100 is worth it. I think so.
