Default wanting another vette

I sold my 79 this past July and have regretted every since, but the money was used for a down payment on a house and a new 24X30 garage.
Anyway Im looking for a vette and am haveing a hard time figuring out what I want.
I am tore between a 73 to 79 or an 85 to a 89.
A C4 with ride comfort, air that don't bog down the motor and the prices are good.Add Flowmasters, chip,K&N,ETC=cool reliable ride.
Or a mid C3 that I can make a lopy hotrod and would rather not have air in the way of the motor, but the rearends scare me,but the prices are getting up there.
Did I see a site I could go to that told the good and bad of each year?

How about this, get the 73-79 and add the motor from the 85-89 and youll have the bast of both worlds. :yesnod:  Good luck in your choice.
