Default Tilt wheel an option in 68?????????????????

Was tilt wheel an option in 68??? If so I bet they are as rare as hens teeth on the market. It would sure be nice, as I get older I find it more difficult to get in and out. Thank goodness I don't have a top to worry about most of the time. If anyone has one, tell me the price, I'm sitting down!!! Seriously, I would luv to have one.

Put your butt in first, then swing in your legs. Reverse procedure to exit.

I think tilt would be a great option though.

My Black Book says for 1968 N36 TELESCOPIC steering option.
But in 1969 and the sharks thereafter, it's N37 TILT-Telescopic.

Sounds like it only tele's and doesn't tilt.

6,477 of 28,566 were built with this option.

You are probably right. If there was one it is a one year only as the ignition is on the dash instead of the column. I think I will swap to a smaller steering wheel now that I have the power steering installed. That would help some. Any recommendations on a nice looking wheel similar to original???
