DynoMax Installed (PICS)
I had a local muffler shop do it and am glad I did. They had some trouble on the passengers side, but that is history now.
I used FEL-PRO gaskets and the Stage 8 Fasteners. They are going to recheck everything after 500 miles.
The wires had to be relocated and I am not sure I like the look right now, but maybe it will grow on me.
The car now has a deeper growl and the increased power was immediately apparent. (Just noticed I left out the word "Headers" in the title).

Re: DynoMax Installed (Chris@VetteFinders)
I have never dyno and have no plans to do so. I had rather not know then run it on a dyno. Just my opinion.
The power increase is quite noticeable. :)

Re: DynoMax Installed (Metal_Wulf)
So, here is the reason I do not dyno.
A couple of years ago, I was at a corvette thingy and Breathless Performance was there with their dyno. One of the best looking 69 verts I have ever seen had a complete nervous breakdown on his second run. I am not sure what went wrong, but it sounded terrible. It you could have seen the look on the owners face. Kinda Scary!

Re: DynoMax Installed (vette69)
I left the stock wires and routeing on mine, the number 4 plug wire boot is too close to the header tube (touching) but maybe a thinner high temp boot and a shorty plug will solve the problem. I don't think we dare try to dent the header tube for clearance due to the Jet Hot coating.

Re: DynoMax Installed (OHSIXX)
I ran my wires under the headers. It takes some time and cutting to keep them away from the heat, but I have not had any problems so far.
Looks good!

I sent my headers to Jet Hot last week. I can't wait to get them back!
I'm right behind you! I hope to ship mine to Jet Hot in the next coupla weeks. Please post (w/ pics if possible) when you get yours back.

Re: DynoMax Installed (OHSIXX)
Those look nice! I have the same headers (I think) and after 2,500 miles they are still looking as good as the day I put them on!
I don't think I would dyno either. I know my SB isn't all that so why risk injury to the car? I'd rather have fun driving it anyway!

Re: DynoMax Installed (Alwyn678)
Sometime in the future I will probably do something different with the wires. No hurry though!
