I have always used my corvettes for drivers. I drive my 69 34 mile each day to work most of the time.

I work from home, but I drive it as much as I can. I would consider it a daily driver since it gets as much miles as my other car.

Except for gas prices, its tough to justify not taking the vette as my other car has a 1.8 liter I4!

My vette is not only my daily driver, currently it's my only car. Yes, I drive it in the rain, sleet, snow, or whatever comes my way :cheers:

Each vette that I've owned has always been my daily driver. They are meant to be driven. We don't think twice about driving a new $20-$50k car and my vette cost a lot less than that. If it breaks I fix it. If it needs paint I paint it. Even driving my vert every day, it maintains it's value better than a new car.

I put over 8k miles on my 68 and 6k miles on my 80' Duntov (sold).. However - those were mostly weekend and fair weather miles.. Well - we have a lot of fair weather around here... :D :D :D
I actually did use the 80' Duntov (sold) as a daily driver for approx. 6 weeks during last year because I gave my daily driver to my parents during their visits..

Mine is daily driven from May to October, I usually put about 5k a year on mine, I usually don't have to go any farther than around town though. If I do have to go farther, I take my 2000 Pontiac Bonneville SSEi (supercharged :D ) :cheers:

Used to for 3 years straight. But as gas prices approach $2.00 p/gallon the $6K Civic I drive may actually be paid for in the gas the Vette would have sucked up in just 2 years. :lol:

20,000 miles a year.This winter's been an exception for me.Just put $5000 in the motor and feel a little skittish driving on ice and snow with 500hp.Been driving the Olds instead and hate it. :mad
