Default Q for guys with built up motors and stall converters

I'm thinking of putting in a stall converter, but am worried about how much torque the stock rear end can take. Did you guys who put one in beef up the back end or is there nothing for me to worry about because i only have under 300 at the wheels? Would i need stronger halfshafts, ujoints etc?

I have a similar 350 buildup and a 2200 stall converter. No problems but I have replaced the yokes and ujoints in the rear of the car before the engine changes.
