Can someone PLEASE post a picture of a car with back fender flares on it?
I have never seen one and wanted to know what it would look like. What are ya'lls opinions on them?

Kara - It all depends on the look you are after for your car. The car that come to mind is Lasse's 72. It is beautifully done. There are several others that are also beautiful cars. Hope this shows up.

I like the way the flares look. Thanks for the pics. How much are you wanting for your extra set? They would work for an 80 right? Are they hard to get to look right? I was wanting them so I could fit wider tires on my car. :D

If I could get back fender flares like Lasses I would definately do it. My luck I wouldn't be able te get them to look that nice.

Kara - Flares are alot of work but certainly can be done. If you'd like to see the process, take a look at my website.

Mine are the ZL-1 style that flares to the bottom rather than taper back in. It's just a matter of what look you prefer.

Kara..I have the ZL-1 flares on mine as well.

Thanks Dave! FINALLY it is done. I'm about to post another series with some shots at a recent show here in town. It was really hard to get the shots with so much shine going on. Merlin is over having the final tune done & getting some stiffer valve springs. Then - with any luck, I'll get to bring it home!! How's everything going with you? I'm doing fine, just really slowed down. Don't have the stamina I use to, but still hope to have the RT project done by summer.

Still planning to! We'll have to see if she'll settle down. Cooling issues are solved, but in the process of adding 2 more fans we blew up the alternator! I think it was a koinkidink. Superheating the alternator definitely weakened it. I had it rewound & we should be good to go now. Glad to see you are doing better. Baby steps, my friend. Stamina will come back. The human body is an amazing thing. Just keep up the good healthy living & we'll plan on definitely grabbing a brew at Bowling Green! :cheers:
