Default My 1971 bionic Vette - Recipe

Just got to thinking and realized my Vette is made up of parts from many different cars... Over the years I identified several things with the stock '71 design that I didn't like, and whenever I could I picked better parts from other cars. So here it is, My 1971 Corvette recipe.

Start with 1 1971 Corvette LS-5 454 and add:
Seats: 1991 Corvette
Starter: 1997 GM 454 Truck
Alternator: 1980 Corvette
Washer fluid reservior and pump: 1974 corvette
Radiator overflow tank: 1979 Corvette
Distributor: 1991 Camaro V8 (Computerized)
Plug wires: 1995 GM 454 Truck (Borg Warner OEM replacement)

So who else has found parts from other cars that work better than the factory stuff?

Why the 97 starter
It's one of the small permanent magnet, gear reduction jobs. Weighs 1/3 of what the stock starter did, cranks like crazy and never suffers from heatsoak.
