Default MSD Just What The Doctor Ordered

W  W What a difference. I'm talking night and day, cleaner burning fuel no hesitation and that kick in the but feeling a BB should have. And with the original F70x15 Firestone wide ovals Need I say more!!!!!
Thanks for all the great comments on helping me decide to use this setup :hurray: BTW this was the best $500.00 I ever spent on the car......
Now I truly know what a BB feels like and using the braided wires and original Dist cap with the chrome cover this baby is stealth :D :D :D

Glad to hear that you like the MSD setup, I just got mine this week from them, can't wait to put it in this month. Now with my Holley 850dp when it flows tons of gas it will have plenty of spark to light the fire! I guess I won't mind a few more ponies!!

Glad it helped..My car runs GREAT with my dual point distributor..Can't imagine it would help that much considering it was built to run on points but I am glad that it is the case

Very glad to hear your BB is well again. You had me fooled (not hard to do). But I wonder if the ignition was a bit weak to begin with? I installed a brand spanken new MSD6AL on mine with no noticable improvements.
At least you saved the cam and lots of $$ and hair loss. :hurray:

467-ratman, I thought the cam and fuel was my problem all along. It is incredible the difference running through the rpm's from 1000 to 5000 it runs so clean. or was it the original distributor
cardoO, My hair's already gone :bb :bb but I'm glad I got to keep the cam.
taking that out would have been a nightmare :cry
