HEY VETTE MOVIE (MPEG) GURU'S HELP
I just read the post about a bar to mount a movie camera and it re-sparked my intrest in makng a Vette movie with my Sony Mavica. What do I have to do to shoot several clips and splice them together into one uninterupted MPEG? Two to make this even more difficult how can I dubb in music with the video yet have some spots where you hear my Vette as I recorded it say during a hard launch. Any help would be appreciated. Video equipment I have, Sony Mavica MVC-CD200, Dell Latitude Pen IV with Windows XP.

Virtuadub is an excellent program for what you want to do. I can email it to you if you want. The learning curve is not too steep. If you want more information, just ask. :cheers:

Hmm... Buy a Sony HandyCam. It will make you life much easier. Audio/Video work is just like working on your car... Its easy if you have the right tools for the job.
Digi Cam is not best choice for video.

Darn! that cost me $800.00! Well still works for the still pics and the bedroom. :lol:

Sorry, I use a MAC and iMovie for my clips. I you have a mini-DV tape email me for an address and I'll make the movie for you and add whatever sound you want. As far as PC programs for this, don't know.

Ulead, http://www.ulead.com has several programs for doing this. They have trial versions so if it this a one time shot you can download and do what you need to do.

If you want to go Pro, I'd advice to get Adobe Premier-software. :yesnod:
