HELP!! I think I broke it
A few weeks ago I installed some really nice high temp plug wires. And After the new motor installation I am now just getting the motor tuned and timed correctly so It runs sweet. The only problem with the wires that I bought is that are really long so today I cut the wires to make them shorter. THEN..... I tried to start the car and it has a constant popping/backfire at idle, The same popping you get when a motor sucks a few valves. Popping on a new motor doesn't make sense so I am thinking I might have got a mixed up with another or maybe a bad connection in one of the wires?
What do you guys think? :mad

I'd check to ensure you didn't cross a couple wires.
BTW: Does a "popping" older motor make sense??
